Lourensford is the venue closest to home. A nine-kilometre drive from where DJ Anker lives, which means setup starts unhurried and pack-down at 02:00 doesn't feel like a punishment. We have run more weddings here than anywhere else.
The estate handles 60-200 guests across the main marquee, the courtyard, and the long-table outdoor reception. Each space wants a slightly different sound treatment — the marquee swallows bass, the courtyard echoes off stone, the outdoor floor needs the sub closer to the dancefloor than feels right at first.
The marquee canvas absorbs the high end and lets the bass through clean — that means EQ goes brighter than usual, and the sub bin sits 30% louder than it would in a hard-walled room. The courtyard reverses the equation: stone walls pop the highs, sub has to come down. The outdoor long-table runs on the same mains as the marquee with a delayed satellite at the far end of the table so the speech mic doesn't lag for guests at the back.
Setup window opens at 14:00 for an 18:00 ceremony. Coordinator on-site, generator backup standing by (rarely needed — Lourensford's mains are reliable). Vehicle access right up to the dancefloor — no long carries. Parking is on-site, no shuttle needed for guests under 180.
Send your date, the package that feels closest, and any specifics about your guest count. I'll confirm availability for Lourensford within 48 hours.
